Capt. Ross has been fishing the Gulf of Mexico for over 30 years. His passion for fishing began as a child fishing with his father
when he caught his first sailfish in the Gulf of Mexico at age 12. Capt Ross is 46 years old and at 6'7" tall and 320 lbs is the
source of the name for his boat "REEL BEAST". Come experience first hand Capt. Ross' enthusiasm, knowledge and love for fishing
aboard the "Reel Beast."

Russell McElwee is Capt. Ross' 19 year old deckhand and shares his father's knowledge and love of fishing.
Both men specialize in offshore trolling with artificial and live bait as well as bottom and suspended fishing.
The "Reel Beast" is a center console 32' Contender powered with twin Yamaha F-250 outboard motors, picked up at
the factory new in 2006. She is equipped with Sonar, Radar, GPS, VHF, and Satellite Radio. Fishing tackle is
top of the line Shimano Tiagra, Stella, Spheros, Tekota, etc. All fishing tackle is professionally maintained
and tested year round. The "Reel Beast" is also equipped with all USCG required safety equipment plus satellite EPIRB.
